LS Retail based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV in a bouquet of Irises
The Iris company and experts from Impact Soft are in the process of automating a network of high-class flower kiosks with LS Retail.

The Iris network is a young, dynamically growing company, which is developing its retail network of European-class flower kiosk. This network is characterized by the uniform quality standard of the flower production and high level of service. At present, the network includes 27 kiosks, and according to the plans this number will have increased to 50 by the end of year.

This business is growing very fast so the top-management of the company decided to automate the network of kiosks. It is very complex, if not impossible to have full control over a distributed network of shops that includes dozens of shops without some kind of automation.

The top-management of the Iris company decided to introduce an ERP-system for the following purposes:
• To gain control of business operations in every shop
• To compare purchased goods with the real rests of the goods in shops, and the dynamics of sales. This is especially relevant, because flowers are perishable goods
• For optimization of the decision-making process, particularly in connection with accommodation of kiosks
• Organization of an effective and fair system of motivation

LS Retail based on Microsoft Dynamics ™ NAV and Impact Soft were chosen for the automation of the Iris flower kiosks. One of principal reasons for choosing LS Retail is that it offers great scalability which provides an opportunity for further development of a network and software costs per shop are low. At the same time the functionality of the system meets all requirements and needs of a network.

Work on the project began in May 2007 with the automation of the central warehouse. Today, 19 kiosks have already been automated.

In the Iris network, the LS Retail system handles the following business-processes:

• Control of goods and prices
• Control of sales (automation of the POS)
• Centralization of management by the replication of distributed databases with the use of the LS Data Director
• Analysis of various information and statistics within the business

The following companies are among satisfied Impact Soft and LS Retail clients: Azbuka Vkusa, Arbat Prestige, TVOE, Grand Cosmetic, Bestseller, Baltman, a network of Vobis computer shops, a network of drugstores, The Old Lekar, a network of Coffee Bean cafés, and many others.
