The biggest ever LS
Retail Worldwide Partner Conference is now well under way in Prague,
the Capital of the Czech Republic. With over 140 delegates from LS
Retail Partners, Microsoft and LS Retail staff, this partner
conference is set to break the record in terms of number of
participants as well as the range of presentations.
During the opening speech, Gunnar Bjorn Gunnarsson, the CEO of LS
Retail, outlined the success of the company in the past year and
praised the company’s business partners for the great effort in
winning a significant number of retail accounts during 2009. Along
with the planned move to its new offices in central Reykjavik later
this month, LS Retail is now on course to achieve an excellent
business result for 2010.
On behalf of Microsoft, Sandana Kichenane, Retail Distribution
Industry Manager at Microsoft Dynamics, made a keynote speech with
an overview of Microsoft retail strategy and solution positioning.
Sandana reaffirmed that despite the acquisition of LS Retail AX to
boost Microsoft’s retail solution offering, Microsoft will continue
to cooperate with LS Retail in a much stronger way worldwide.
The conference continues until Friday 7th.
