LS Retail in Detail, the first ever major technical event organised by LS Retail in the Asia Pacific region, has been successfully concluded in Singapore on 21st May 2008.

The Evrotek Group (Ukraine) has opened the first four stores in its new Fresh chain. The stores are located in Kerch and Krivoi Rog. LS Retail manages shops on the base of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, implemented by the specialists of Impact-Soft.

Retail in Detail for EMEA in Reykjavik will be held 10.-11. June at Laugar Spa close to the LS Retail headquarters. In early May, the capital has enjoyed the warmest start of summer since 1961 and we hope that our participants from abroad will have a good time in Iceland. Unfortunately there is a limit to how many participants we can register for this kind of events for everyone to get maximum value. It is, of course, marvellous to feel the great interest from partners all over, but sadly we cannot accept any more registrations for the Reykjavik RID.

The first out of four consecutive Retail In Detail sessions was held in Berlin at the art´otel May 6th and 7th. The high-level presentations from the LS Retail Team of experts were well received by the 45 participants joining us from 20 LS Retail Partners.

Microsoft Iceland recently proudly reported on its Partner Program Website that Landsteinar Strengur had been awarded first prize for Microsoft Dynamics NAV sales in Q1 2008. This sales competition was open to every Microsoft partner selling Microsoft Dynamics NAV in W-Europe. Landsteinar Strengur is LS Retail’s Icelandic Partner. We at LS Retail echo Microsoft’s congratulations to Landsteinar Strengur and we are certain that the good sales results will continue.

A joint retail seminar, sponsored by Microsoft Japan, Pacific Business Consulting (PBC), an LS Retail Business Partner and Zeal, was held at the Microsoft Tokyo office today with a turnout of over twenty people from the retail industry.

There are not many retailers who can attract 15.000 to 60.000 visitors to a store on a single day, and let alone serve them all. IKEA is one of few or perhaps the only retailer that can pull this off. The opening of a new IKEA store in Athens, Greece was a testimony to this. On the opening day, March 26th 2008, the new IKEA store celebrated with 25.000 visitors, 7.930 sales transactions and 23.000 items sold in the restaurant and the Swedish food market.

Jan Sikkes has fully completed the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and LS Retail. K3 Landsteinar, LS Retail partner in the Netherlands, has done the implementation.

Arquiconsult, Sistemas de Informação, Lda, was chosen by Blockbuster, the video rental world giant franchise, to implement a project on information systems in Portugal.

Fillgap, LS Retail partner in Latin America presented LS Retail at ExpoANTAD, the most important expo for the retail industry in Latin America.
ExpoANTAD was held from the 4th to 7th of March in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Fillgap was at Booth 132 in the Technology Pavilion.

Today Qurius NV and LS Retail have concluded a European reseller and marketing agreement to distribute the solutions of LS Retail in all Qurius countries.

The new system will integrate with Agent Provocateur's e-tail and back expansion.

The White Company, the leading multi-channel luxury home accessories retailer has commissioned K3, LS Retail Partnerand the the UK's largest provider of Microsoft Dynamics to implement their retail solution.

Clinton Cards, the UK's largest specialist retailer of greetings cards, has commissioned K3, LS Retail partner in UK and the UK's largest provider of Microsoft Dynamics, to develop and implement a solution to manage Clinton Cards' central merchandising, stock ordering and sales analytics across its 1,100 stores.

Bestseller is an international retailer and wholesaler operating in the fashion sector. With plans to open 1,000 new stores in the next two years, the company wanted to implement a retail solution that would support continued expansion. Bestseller chose to standardise on Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV, and found in its first deployment that it could open new stores faster, and that employees’ productivity and business insight was increased.
